How Memoir Writing Can Change Your Life

Three local authors who have written
memoirs about their relationships with their mothers will offer a panel on “How
memoir writing can change your life.” The discussion will be led by Mani Feniger.
Ms. Feniger’s book, The Woman in the
Photograph,
recounts how the discovery of a hidden photograph sent her on a
twenty-year journey to uncover to the buried secrets and startling revelations
of her mother’s past.

The other authors are Linda Joy Myers,
author of Don’t Call Me Mother and
Naomi Rose who penned MotherWealth. Ms.
Myers is the president and founder of the National Association of Memoir
Writers. There will be time for questions and answers about memoir writing to
help those who would like to reclaim or recount their lives or the lives of
relatives.
