Free lecture: Barr Rosenberg on "Thoughts for Learning and Knowledge."

Have you noticed that our ordinary ways of thinking are often negative and just get in the way when we need to think clearly and constructively? This talk by the Nyingma Institute’s co-dean Barr Rosenberg is about turning conscious thoughts into productive tools that lead directly to insightful discoveries and solutions. The talk presents various steps along that path, and explains some important themes that come up along the way.

Barr Rosenberg, Ph.D., has been a Co-Dean of the Nyingma Institute since 1999 and a student of Tibetan Lama Tarthang Tulku since the early 1970’s. He is a member of the Yeshe De translation team. Barr taught for many years at the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, and has taught at the Nyingma Institute since 1982. He regularly teaches courses at the Institute in Nyingma Meditation, Buddhist Studies, Skillful Means, and Tibetan Art and Language.

The Nyingma Institute's Spring Quarter begins March 24. Visit us online for a list of our Spring courses.
