El Cerrito High School kicks off this year’s drama student performances with a production of William Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”. This is the first full length production by the high school theater students in the new Performing Arts Center. Performances are Friday November 30th at 7:30 pm, Saturday December 1st and 7:30 pm and Sunday December 2nd at 2 pm.
Community businesses have provided program sponsorships and donation of goods and materials, neighbors donated items for costumes and props during last year’s citywide garage sale. Contra Costa Civic Theatre has consistently been a resource to the school; lending costumes and promoting committee efforts in their programs.
