City of El Cerrito’s Halloween Carnival, Trunk-Or-Treat,
Haunted House & Dog Costume Contest

Come out on Thursday, October
31st to the Haunted Carnival and get spooked by goblins, witches and vampires!
This year our Carnival will consist of a Haunted House, and an indoor carnival.
Please be aware that the Haunted House can frighten young children. We
encourage very young children to visit our lights on Haunted experience. The
fun will begin at 2:30pm and end by 7:00pm. Tickets sales will end at 6:30pm.
If you or your group is interested in volunteering for the Haunted Carnival,
please contact the Community Center (510) 559-7000. Mark Your Calendar! Please
come in costume.



Haunted House Hours:

Non-Scary Version – Preschoolers Lights On

Time: 2:30pm- 4:30pm Fee: $4.00 per person



Scary Version

Time: 5:00pm - 7:00pm Fee: $4.00 per person

Returning after a brief hiatus is our Halloween Trunk-or-Treat
tailgate party! Bring bags of wrapped candy for Trick-or-Treating at your spook
mobile, which will be located in the El Cerrito Community Center parking lot
during our annual Halloween Carnival and Haunted House. Decorate your spook
mobile with witches, ghosts, goblins, and music. Decorated spook mobiles will
automatically be entered into a contest. We want to ensure that all goblins
receive a good “trick-or-treat” so bring plenty of good stuff to eat or toys.
To enter the tailgate party, please contact the Recreation Department at (510)
559-7000 or recreation@ci.el-cerrito.ca.us by October 28, 2013 to ensure a spot
(spaces are limited).

Trunk-or-Treat Hours

Come out and join us for the
Annual Dog Parade and Costume Contest for our four legged friends. The contest
will take place at Cerrito Vista Park at 5:00pm on Thursday, October 31st. Dog
registration begins at 4:30pm. Costumes are encouraged for both humans and
dogs. The best costumes win a prize!
