El Cerrito High School will be presenting Naomi Iizuka’s “Anon(ymous)” on Friday, April 25 at 7:30 pm, Saturday April 26th at 7:30 pm, Sunday April 27th at 2:30 pm at the ECHS Performing Arts Theater. The production is the first theater production cast from the entire student body in years, directed by Theater Director Carmen Bush. The Dance Conservatory students are creating the set with motion, under the direction of Dance Director Jessie Kronenberg.
Anon(ymous) is loosely based on Homer’s The Odyssey and is the modern story of a young refugee who fled to America from a war-torn country, separated from family, filled with diverse adventures about
immigrant life.
Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for seniors and students at the door. Alumni-roasted Gauchos Coffee will be available for purchase in ground or whole bean in the lobby, along with other theater swag.
