What do seniors and the Oakland Zoo have in common? The 8th Annual Healthy Living Festival. of course! This event, staged every year by the United Seniors of Oakland and Alameda County, will feature health screens, financial planning information and many other resources for seniors.

Relax after the the long (and, may I say, largely chilly and gray) week with innovative jazz from The Inside Men. They're a Bay Area jazz staple and describe themselves as ranging from “the classic post-bop sensibilities to avant garde sensibility.” Don't miss this group as they roll through Kensington on Friday.
