With the contracts between BART and several of its unions expiring at 11:59 p.m., Monday, June 30, transit riders and drivers are encouraged to stay informed of the status of the BART system, as a strike could have significant impacts on the regional transportation system.
Bay Area residents are urged to plan ahead and check the 511.org website for alternate plans. People also can call 5-1-1 for updates regarding BART service status.
