[We Have a Winner] Mystery Photo: El Cerrito in 1955, But Where Exactly?

Where in El Cerrito did these two workers do whatever it was that they were doing? Be the first to email charles@patch.com with the answer and win a prize.

Update: Congratulations to Suzanne Ritchie of El Cerrito, the first of many readers who correctly identified this as the TEPCO tableware plant that was once the city's biggest employer. Shown in the photo are two women sanding saucers. This photograph appears in a photo feature about the TEPCO factory that we plan to publish Wednesday in advance of by collectors Lynn Maack and Sandi Genser-Maack.

This is the latest installment of our irregularly published Mystery Photo contest. The first reader to email El Cerrito Patch editor Charles Burress at charles@patch.com with the correct location wins a Patch water bottle and a Patch canvas tote bag. Hint: the photo was taken in El Cerrito in 1955. We request that members of the El Cerrito Historical Society, which furnished this photo, please refrain from entering the contest.

The legal fine print: Open to legal residents of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia who are 18 and older. The applicable parts of the attached Official Rules for Patch giveaway contests govern this contest.
