No One Takes 'Bait Car' in El Cerrito

El Cerrito police and the California Highway Patrol placed a 'bait car' in various commercial locations in the city for eight hours Friday. They kept close watch on the vehicle, which could be stopped by remote control. No one tried to take it.

Also, El Cerrito police said that an investigation into a possible case of elder abuse last week showed that the victim was injured in a fall and no criminal activity took place.
