I’ve been at this market for about a year. I also do the Fourth of July festival in El Cerrito. I’ve been doing that for five years, and I’m one of the vendors there this year. I do catering in the East Bay — in Hercules and Pinole. I bring my truck and we set up.

What types of cuisine do you cook? I specialize in ribs, rib tips, chicken. We also do sides, cole slaw, potato salad, BBQ baked beans, corn on the cob, collard greens — it depends on what you’re asking for. We also do weddings.

How long have you lived in El Cerrito? I’ve lived in El Cerrito for eight years now.

What brought you to the area? I lived in Berkeley and found a house here and have been here ever since. We enjoy the area, you know, raising my kids here. My son goes to and my daughter goes to daycare locally.

What do you do for fun? Besides doing the BBQ, I like to play. I’m a PlayStation guy. I’m a gamer.

Do you have a favorite game you like to play? Usually Madden Football or College Football.
