Photo Gallery: Oktoberfest at the Plaza

The Junket's Oktoberfest celebration brought a taste of Bavaria to El Cerrito Plaza on Saturday.

Lederhosen and Dirndl-clad Almenrausch Shuhplattler dancers and accordion player Karl Lebherz rocked The Junket's annual Oktoberfest celebration yesterday afternoon.

Revelers noshed on the likes of Bockwurst with red cabbage and hot potato salad and raised liter steins of beer — drawn by owner Bruno Frisch from kegs of Spaten, Bitburger and Köstritzer.

When the shoe-slapping Shuhplattler troupe was between sets, merrymakers danced polkas in the cordoned off area of the parking lot that served as a dance floor.
