KCC's Fall Parade and Picnic in Kensington

Come join the fun at the Kensington Community Council's annual Fall Parade and Picnic! The parade assembles at the Kensington ACE Hardware at 11:30 am and starts down the Arlington at Noon led by El Cerrito High School's Marching Band. The picnic is held at the Kensington Community Center starting at 1:00 p.m. featuring live music with the El Cerrito High Jazz Band, and local bands, Threat Level Orange and Little Marvin and the Gardeners - featuring the Housing Bubbles.   Enjoy a BBQ lunch while listening to the music!  Tickets can be purchased on site.  Sponsor Mechanics Bank is holding a coloring contest for kids up to age 12. Coloring sheets can be picked up at the Kensington branch and a $50 savings bond will be awarded to each age group. Our other sponsor, Marvin Gardens Real Estate is holding a pumpkin decorating contest.
