Eco-film series: Mad City Chickens

The El Cerrito Environmental Quality Committee welcomes you to City Hall a free public showing of the film Mad City Chickens.

The City of El Cerrito recently changed local laws to allow residents to keep chickens, bees, and goats in their backyards. The film, "Mad City Chickens" is a sometimes serious, sometimes whimsical look at the people who keep chickens in their backyards in Madison, WI and the process that changed the local animal ordinance there.
