ECAA Plein Air Artists' Exhibit

The City of El Cerrito Arts and Culture Commission presents "El Cerrito Art Association Plein Air Artists' Exhibit" in the City Hall Gallery Space from January 10 through February 9, 2012.

The artists are also hosting a reception in the City Hall Gallery Space on Saturday, January 21 at City Hall, 10890 San Pablo Avenue, El Cerrito from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. The reception is open to the public.

Sixteen local artists who are all members of the El Cerrito Art Association Plein Air Group will exhibit 19 paintings. Many of the paintings depict local places and landscapes.

The participating artists are: Charlotte Britton, Helen Burke, Ikuko Boyland, Linnea Gershenberg, Larry Hatfield, June Hunt, Andree Julian, Elizabeth Kavaler, Ling-Te Liao, Eileen Libby, Christine Mulder, Linda Oppen, Joanna Schafer, Meg Stockwell, Linda Schweitzer, and Carol Sutton. The Gallery Space is located inside the El Cerrito City Hall and is open to the public during regular business hours, which are:
Monday and Wednesday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Tuesday and Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Friday January 13 & 27 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Closed Monday January 16, Friday January 20, and Friday February 3, 2012.

The Gallery Space, in the loft hallway above the lobby of City Hall, is the City's contribution to the Art in Public Places Program for the construction of City Hall in 2008.
