Since he moved to California in 1993, Danny has been working for his uncle, owner and founder of J & M Ibarra Farms, and has regularly made the four-hour trip from the farm in Reedley to the . The drive is 179.2 miles, and Danny says that he arrives to set up by 7:00 AM.
The family farm is certified organic and sits on 50 acres in the Reedley area, 17 miles east of Fresno. In the last few weeks, business has been great, particularly for their most popular item, pre-mixed salad and spinach bags. Other items the farm sells include carrots, squash, zuchinni, cilantro, onions, and bochoy and a wide variety of mushrooms.
When asked what his favorite item available is, Danny replied "Everything!"
