A visit to the city's Splash Park confirms the age-old affinity of kids, summer and getting soaking wet in water spurting, squirting and dropping through the air.
On a warm summer afternoon, one place that children like to be is the . The park, completed last October, is part of the and provides a safe, enclosed environment for children to play, along with benches, shade, a freshly cut lawn and barbecue pit for parents.
