Lessons From Father?

What did you learn from your father? And dads, what are you hoping to pass on to your children?

Those were the questions as El Cerrito prepares for Father's Day. Sons and daughters recalled some of the valuable lessons their dads taught them and how those lessons have affected their lives.

Venders at the El Cerrito farmers market who worked the fields with their fathers and uncles said they hope to pass on the family farm to their sons. Other sons credited their fathers with instilling them with a strong work ethic and sense of respect.

Thanks Dad for everything. Father's Day is Sunday.
