How to Share Your Events and Announcements on El Cerrito Patch

Planning an event in El Cerrito, Kensington or nearby? Have an announcement to make to the community? Submit information directly to the website through our Do-It-Yourself system.

El Cerrito Patch isn't just a resource for news — it's also a place for community members to share information. Events and announcements relating to our community can be submitted directly to the site; there's no need to go through the editor to get published.

Perhaps you'd like to announce a or athletic success? Or let the community know about a fund-raising campaign for a swim club, appeal for volunteer tutors at El Cerrito High or a garden contest

Our Do-It-Yourself system allows you to post a special series of events, such as a local play, in the announcements. Our announcements section also means you can announce personal events — like the birth of a baby, an engagement, marriage or a death — or community shout-outs, such as a lost dog, the need for host families for exchange students, a local scholarship opportunity or an update from your club or organization.
