Doe, Fawns Pause for Idyllic Tableau in El Cerrito

A big thanks to Lawrence of Radcliffe of El Cerrito for sending us his entrancing photo of a doe and two fawns taken about 5:30 p.m. Monday at the corner of Terrace Drive and Clark Place in the El Cerrito hills.

If you drive up Moeser Lane and continue a short distance across Arlington Boulevard where Moeser becomes Terrace Drive, you'll come to a seemingly enchanted spot where El Cerrito resident Lawrence Radcliffe photographed a doe and two fawns Monday as they ruminated in soft, late-afternoon light among the trees and greenery near Wildcat Canyon.

If you have photos of El Cerrito or Kensington wildlife, we'd like to see them. You can add them to this article (by clicking "Upload Photos and Videos" under the accompanying photo section), adding them to our Pics & Clips (under the "Pics & Clips" tab on the homepage), or sending them to elcerrito@patch.com.
