Free Legal Workshops Sponsored by Contra Costa Public Law Library

The Contra Costa Public Law Library sponsors a number of free legal workshops including: Conservatorships and Lawyer in the Library.  The Lawyer in the Library Program provides unrepresented individuals an opportunity to briefly consult with volunteer attorneys on a variety of topics including civil suits, landlord tenant disputes, probate matters, employment problems and other issues.

Our website (http://www.cccpllib.org/calendar.html) provides information about each of the Library sponsored workshops as well as other legal workshops in Contra Costa County, including workshops on: Bankruptcy, Debtor Rights, Family Law, Immigration, Guardianship and Housing.

On our webpage you will find links providing information about the scope, time and location of these monthly workshops.   Our webpage also provides information about the Senior Self-Help Clinic, available to Contra Costa County residents over the age of 60 who represent themselves in court on problems such as Elder Abuse, Housing and Consumer Credit.
