Beginners/All Levels Welcome! No partners needed. Some of the dances are older traditional folk dances and others are more current choreographies. Music is from around the world. The dances will brighten your spirit and warm your heart. Every dance is taught. We dance in a beautiful space with an incredible view. Potluck is at 6:3opm. Dancing starts at 7:30pm with a break halfway through.
The Bay Area Circle Dancers have been in existance since 1985. Throughout the year we hold special events, such as hosting out of area teachers, an annual summer dance camp and a special fall event. Full details can be found on our website.

More About Hillside Community Church
Hillside Community Church is located in a small, park-like setting on an El Cerrito hillside. Founded in 1951, the church belongs to the Swedenborgian denomination, which honors the teachings of Emanuel Swedenborg, an 18th-century theologian and scientist who was born in Stockholm. The church has a number of programs, including two choral groups, a circle dancing group and a Japanese archery group. The building also is home to the Peter Pan Parent Nursery School.
