New Restaurant Debuts — "Countryside" Vietnamese Menu
The new Nông Thôn restaurant opened today, Saturday, on San Pablo Avenue near Cerrito Theater.
"Nông Thôn," name of the new restaurant at the intersection of San Pablo and Central avenues, means "countryside" in Vietnamese. It serves a range of authentic Vietnamese food from southern Vietnam, said Hao Vo, husband of owner of Jennie Tang. The hours are 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., seven days a week.

It would be so great to have a good Vietnamese restaurant in EC! I can't wait to try it (after it's had some time for its shake-down cruise).

This is a terrfic find..The food was wonderful as well as plentiful, great friendly service, very reasonable prices..I loved the ambiance too....I plan to return ASAP.
